Holiday Paper Cut

Doing that paper cut snowflake from the last post inspired me to do some more holiday related paper cut art so I made some paper typography which I photographed and made into some postcards to send out to all of the coolest people that make what I do possible.

Thanksgivukkah Presents

This year was a very special year because Hanukkah fell on the day before Thanksgiving making it a double mega-holiday that has never happened before and won't happen again for another 70,000 years. As always I made special presents for my parents and sister. 9"

Travel friendly zippered pouches with a new fabric and magenta zippers for my Mommy

A 9" tall giraffe I needle felted for my big sister (she loves giraffes and PINK!)
don't ask me how long it took :-P

A bit more manly colored pouches to hold my Daddy's on-the-go paper stuff.

Silly drawn hang tags

Wrapped presents using this amazing "I love you a latke!" wrapping paper from Target designed by my friend Liz Apple who does rad design for their holiday department!

And this card that speaks the truth...

Winter Crafting

I was feeling crafty with the Holiday season and wanted to make some cozy accessories.  I recently got some legit pom makers and had to try them out.

Close-up! This photo would make a sweet phone background.
Compliments of my macro lens.

I had so many colorful yarns I also knit up some cord:

I combined some colors to make this super long cord that
would be a crazy bracelet/sleeve/layered necklace.

Yarn snakes!

I also tried my hand at making a multicolor 3D snowflake.  It looks pretty cool but took forever to make.  The ultimate nondescript holiday decoration.

I used the crafts I made for a holiday themed photo with all of the Mokuyobi Threads patches!
